You must try these natural acid reflux remedies
and experience
how well they work for you!
We'll start with the most
important first...
1.
Digestive enzyme supplements
I have been using Digestive enzymes for years, and I have to say the
they are the single most important acid reflux remedy that I know of.
I was very surprised to hear that digestive
enzymes have gone mainstream, since Dr. Northrup, the author of women's
bodies, women's wisdom (national bestseller) referred to them on Oprah
recently.
I personally do not go without enzymes for more
than a few days, even though I have absolutely no acid reflux, acid
indigestion or heartburn any more.
My digestive enzyme page explains their awesome effects clearly, check
it out here...

2.
Take DGL (deglycyrrhized licorice)
If I feel like I have overdone it occasionally with poor food choices--
a rare but indulgent occasion, then I reach for the DGL.
DGL coats and soothe the stomach and the entire
digestive tract. DGL works extremely well at keeping LES valve closed.

3.
Take Colostrum
Colostrum coats and soothes the entire digestive tract, it is wonderful
for acid indigestion, reflux and heartburn.
It has even been shown to prevent H. Pylori
bacteria from attaching to the stomach lining.

4.
Take Probiotics
Everyone has heard of probiotics at this point.
The yogurt companies are trying to sell you on the
idea that their product is better because of the type of probiotic it
has in it. The news reports on how useful it it is and even the Medical
doctors are recommending patients to take it.
The benefits of probiotics for the colon are undoubted by science now
but probiotics can also be very beneficial for people with stomach
problems such as heartburn, acid indigestion, and acid reflux.
5.
Drink more water
It seems simple because it is simple. I have used this many, many times
myself to calm heartburn and reflux when there were no other options
available.
It usually take several pints of water to calm
everything down and be symptom free.
If I had a slight burning in the stomach, then one
glass of water might be enough to end the heartburn. If the burning
were stronger, it would take several glasses of water.
How do you know how much water to drink? Just keep drinking - not
guzzling, until the reflux or heartburn goes away.
